Glad someone finally has the balls to break that mould from which all those recent negative articles stem from, dammit, It's about time. The game may be unfinished, but what is there is going to be a very solid foundation for the "Definitive Edition" or "Ultimate Edition" or w/e that will come out a couple years from now.

Truthfully... Sony did not remove Cyberpunk 2077 from the Playstation Store until AFTER CD Projekt Red announced in a tweet that they could get a refund from Sony.
Giving money back is not something they like at Sony Playstation, I know first hand, I experienced it, it was for a PS2 game on the PS4 which falsely advertised a feature that wasn't there.

Anyway, I agree with the article's author. Many people had unrealistic expectations for the base PS4/Xbox O...

What's wrong with the PS4 Pro version? I saw it run on youtube, and in spite of the compression I thought it looked very good.

GG CD
Knew they wouldn't disappoint

Either there is a huge difference between the 2013 basic PS4 version and the 2016 PS4 Pro version of Cyberpunk 2077, or there is none and I don't see what this outcry is all about. The game looks and runs fine on the PS4 Pro.

Entirely deserved. Hope it gets the titular award too!

I'm currently playing it, and I have to say, man, what a fantastic game this is. Entirely deserves to be GOTY 2020. I liked Infamous Second Son very much, the 2 previous PS3 Infamous games also, albeit not as much as SS, but Ghost of Tsushima is so much in another league as far as production values and story-telling go, it's ridiculous! Who would've thought that little rather unknown development studio was capable of this miracle of a game, it's incredible.

"1. Quick Resume
With the Xbox Series X|S players have the ability to flip between multiple different games and all without having to close any one of them. This quick resume feature gives Microsoft a significant leg up over Sony right now"

No it doesn't. Wen they're playing a game, most people are not interested in launching another one. Like we're gonna swap games constantly now all of a sudden because MS have preferred to implement this fe...

"Miscellaneous – Some other things would be nice to have on the PlayStation 5 with one of them being the web browser"

WTF, they removed the web browser?! Why?!

What? How do you manage to get that feature working on a PC game? I can't even get the rumble feature to work when i use my DualShock 4 to play my emulators on PC, or even use it without a cable :(

Are you one of the few lucky owners of that bluetooth dongle that Sony had officially released a couple years back to connect the DS4 to the PC wirelessly, that originally sold for 20€ and can't be found now for less than 5 times as much?

It may be bigger than AC Odyssey or Origins, but does it have as much variety? Doesn't look like it. I love AC Odyssey (I've clocked over 300hrs in it), but it certainly didn't have the same variety of landscapes as AC Origins...
I for one love absolutely huge open world maps, provided they offer enough compelling stuff to see and do, so I have my sights set on this one. But maybe they should've had a bigger scandinavian area and a smaller british one.

All right. Now to add BC with at least PS1 & PS2 games via a fw update. Perhaps even BC with PS3 games, although I'm not holding my breath on that.
By the way, that tiny handfull of PS2 games on the PS4 also run flawlessly on the PS5 I assume...?

Is it just me who didn't see it or did they not say anything about the PS5's Media Player? Is it an app like on the PS4, or is it integrated into the console's OS, like the PS3? If anybody has the PS5 already, I'm curious about that. Like, when you use the console's web browser, can you download a pic, an mp3 or a video off websites, like on the PS3? This has always been one of the most jarring flaw on the PS4, like, why did so many features on the previous product that no...

I absolutely don't understand how that matters in the slightest, as we know the PS5 can do 4K, which means 3840x2160. Last I checked 2160 is better than 1440 , so what's the big deal?

The good ol' times of a chipped PS1 allowing us to play games imported from Japan or the USA or pirated copies on our european consoles instead of 50Hz Pal games that took forever to be released over here... Good memories. I don't understand what went through my head when I sold my hard-payed copy of Akumajou dracula gekka no yasoukyoku, dammit....Fortunately I did not sell the music CD that came with it, or the mini-art book/comic book. I even managed to sneakily steal another one i...

Did I not read the article carefully enough, it seems to me they forgot to mention 1 major advantage that PCs have over all consoles now, and that is free online gaming. Free! As it should be!

1986d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I believe physical games still exist on PC, if I'm not mistaken? Don't they all get released in boxed form, even if they tend to only be found in online stores and are somehow still pressed on DVDs?

I remember Mark Cerny saying something along the lines of, TFLOPS not being actually indicative of a console's power due to that calculation method having to do with... something MLA? or something. Does that acronym ring a bell to someone who's more PC tech-savvy than I am? What did he mean by that?

In vain, yes. Still, remember folks, a certain company has always been well known for the "FUD" (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) it was trying to spread about its competitors. It's no different this time.
